JUDAH FREED, CRMT, is a Certified Reiki Master Teacher for Usui, Karuna, and Kundalini Reiki. He is the developer of Chaim (Life) Reiki.
An award-winning journalist and the author of Global Sense, Judah has been studying and practicing the healing arts since the 1970s. His studies took on a fresh urgency in the 1990s. To help a close friend recover from a brain injury, he asked for training in Usui Reiki from master teacher Joanne Hibbert, who attuned him to Reiki Level I in 1997, Reiki II in 1998, and Reiki III in 1998. In response to inner guidance, he began in 2004 to develop Chaim (Life) Reiki, which uses Hebrew to enhance the healing power. Separately, Judah became is a master teacher of the quartz crystal array healing methods originated by Melody (author, Love is in the Earth).
Judah’s friends, who for years had been receiving free treatments, kept saying he should offer healings professionally. He kept resisting, thinking it would not mesh with his journalism career. However, when four healers in six weeks told Judah in mid-2007 to stop being shy about his gift and go public, he asked Reiki pioneer Marnie Vincolisi for Master Teacher training and certification in Usui and Karuna Reiki, which he completed in autumn 2007.
Judah also was certified in 2008 for Axiotonal Alignment (The Reconnection), trained separately by master-teacher Aurelia Taylor, building on his earlier training by Marnie Vincolisi.
Judah completed his Kundalini Reiki master-teacher training in autumn 2009, attuned by Colleeen Murphy, who was attuned by master teacher Judith Wade.
In January 2010, Judah was trained and initated as a giver of the Deeksha Oneness Blessing.
Judah Freed offers free energy healings on the first and third (and fifth) Sundays of the month at the First Spiritual Science Church of Denver (3375 S. Dahlia, one block north of Hampden Ave). He also organizes the Denver Reiki Hub to serve the entire Reiki community in metro Denver.
